PFOA and PFOS Water Contamination

Weitz & Luxenberg has already filed lawsuits on behalf of several governmental municipal water suppliers and individual clients. W&L’s Nancy Christensen is a member of the Court-appointed Plaintiffs’ Executive Committee that negotiated settlements on behalf of public water authorities against 3M and DuPont worth approximately $13.5 billion. W&L represents water authorities and municipalities that continue to pursue claims against AFFF manufacturers, including Tyco Fire Products, Chemguard, National Foam, and others. W&L is also representing individuals exposed to PFAS that have developed kidney, testicular, liver, and thyroid cancer, as well as ulcerative colitis.
